A BRIEF BIO OF SKAqUEEN
On Valentines day, during a vacation from cruise ship employment, Katie Presley met Warsaw Poland Brothers, and subsequently the SkaQueen was born. In Boise, ID, on the initial weekend of tour, Tom Grainey’s hosted a grand party at which fans coined the name, SkaQueen.
The SkaQueen exists as a trumpet player who collected the skills of keyboards, tin whistle, accordion, and bass guitar. The stage show of She and Little Buddy of Warsaw is a fabled viewing these days, and currently exists in Hawaii bi-annually.
Now on the road with March Fourth Marching Band over 180 days a year, the SkaQueen can be sited at numerous festivals and venues all over the US, Canada, and beyond!
